Health and Safety:
At Cain tattoo Studio we uphold the the highest in health and safety for both our staff/artist and customers.
To Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures, Clients will need to disclose ANY medical conditions that could put our staff/artist/clients at risk.
This is including though not limited to:
-blood borne disease/illness
We advise if clients have any disabilities to advise us of this prior to booking and we will do our best to accommodate.
We do recommend coming on your own to your appointment, we are a friendly bunch so you wont feel alone. If you need a support person, we do limit to one person at a time.
Due to health and safety reasons we do not allow children under the age of 12 in the store.
If you show any signs of cold or flu like symptoms upon arrival our staff will have the right to refuse service. We recommend advising our artist/staff within 48hrs if you are feeling unwell to reschedule your appointment.
In the event our staff/artists are feeling threatened or have been disrespected in anyway,
Our staff/artists have the right to terminate the session or refuse service resulting into no refund/unfinished tattoo/ or being trespassed from Cain tattoo studio.
Booking your appointment:
After a consultation you will be required to deposit $100 minimum to secure your booking with your artist.
This deposit will be in credit to the final cost for your tattoo and will act as a hold the artist and their time.
Deposits are NON-REFNUNDALE.
Clients must be 18+ years to be tattooed independently and will need to need provide photo ID if request upon.
We do accept clients 16-17years on the basis:
- they have made advised staff/artist of age at FIRST contact.
- they are supervised and have filled the parent/caregiver consent for prior to the tattoo.
- have provided photo ID for both client and parent/caregiver.
If there are any change of circumstances that may interfere with your tattoo appointment you must ensure to advise Cain tattoo staff/artist via text/email 48hrs (2days) prior to the booking.
Failure to do this may result in an additional charge for a new booking, (case by case basis at the discretion of the artist) and a forfeit of your deposit
- This also applies to tattoo appointments being postponed more than twice by the clients account.
Before your Tattoo:
Hygiene is important in our store - Please ensure the area is clean as well as yourself.
A consent form will be provided prior to your appointment via text/email, this MUST be signed and completed before your tattoo appointment. a physical form will be provided upon arrival if not completed then.
Try to avoid alcohol / drug use (including over the counter Pain relief) at least 48hrs prior to your appointment as these will thin your blood, and make you less likely to clot and heal properly.
If you'd like to apply numbing cream beforehand, contact your artist or send your enquiry through to email@example.com atleast 48hrs prior to the tattoo appointment and we can direct you on the day.
Occasionally, due to circumstances the artist may fall behind schedule,
This can be caused by a number of uncontrollable issues. So if you are on a tight schedule please don't hesitate to contact us.
During your tattoo:
Remember to wear comfortable/appropriate clothing at the time of the appointment ensuring the area being tattooed is easily accessible to for tattoo artist, bring some snacks if you're booked for half day or full day appointments.
We strongly care about our clients health and safety so if you start to feel unwell let your artist know.
Tattoo by an apprentice:
Clients being tattooed by an apprentice should have a full understanding the quality of the tattoo will to the best of the apprentice's ability at the time of when the work takes place and all questions/concerns have been addressed at their full satisfactory prior to the tattoo appointment.
After your tattoo:
A text reminder will be sent to all clients of proper after care instructions. Please follow as stated to avoid getting an infection. or prolong healing process.
If there is a need for a touch up please get in contact with your artist first or email: firstname.lastname@example.org, a small charge may be needed. (depending on artist)
Communication is KEY If you have any questions before, during or after your tattoo, feel free to contact us.
You can order vouchers instore on our website.
Gift cards can be used to contribute to a tattoo design or to purchase merch in-store.
It must be used within 12months from the date it was purchased, gift cards can be transferred to another person but would still need to be used within the 12 month time frame.
Gift cards cannot be redeemed or refunded as cash.
